Documentary
Creative Crossroads

A short documentary shot as part of the Barefoot Workshops in Clarksdale, MS in February 2009.  This documentary won Best Short Documentary at the 2009 Crossroads Film Festival.  Worked as part of a three person team to shoot, write, and edit with assistance by workshop instructors.

College Gameday Hype Video

In October of 2014 ESPN's College Gameday made its first trip to the storied Ole Miss Grove in Oxford, MS.  This video was spot specifically for social media to hype the game and energize the Rebel fan base. Shot during the morning broadcast, this video was edited immediately after and released through the official university social media channels hours before the game. I shot and edited all footage and audio for this short highlight video.

Radiothon Audiology Promo

Children's of Mississippi, the state's only children's hospital, raises much needed funds through their Radiothon event each year.  This promotional spot used the story of one of their audiology patients to promote their upcoming 2020 Radiothon event.  In my role as Supervisor of Media Productions I developed a concept, storyboarded, shot, and edited the spot.

Move-In Week Promo

As students prepared to move back onto campus I developed this concept and shot and edited during early move-in.  We then used the final video on social media to promote the upcoming move-in week for the campus at large.

Welcome Week Highlights

Each year we created a highlight video of all of the goings on and excitement of the first week of class.  I developed the concept, shot and edited all footage.

Ole Miss Study Abroad Promo

Ole Miss Study Abroad sends students to study and immerse themselves in the local culture of some of the most interesting places around the world.  I shot, interviewed, and edited all footage.

This Week in the Grove Instagram Series

This Week in the Grove was an annual series Ole Miss Communications released during football season.  They utilized their strong presence on Instagram and Facebook to highlight each week's upcoming football game.  Each series drove engagement and subscriber gains via trivia and contests.  I shot on green screen, keyed, and edited all footage for the entire 3 year series.

Children's of Mississippi
New Tower Opening

In the fall of 2020, Children's of Mississippi opened the new Sanderson tower of the state's only children's hospital in Jackson, MS.  I shot and edited all footage.

Delta State University

Delta State University hosted an event for the Institutes of Higher Learning and used this video to promote all aspects of the university. I shot, edited, and color corrected all footage using an audio track provided by the client.

Chinese Flagship Program

The Chinese Flagship Program at the University of Mississippi trains students to become proficient in Chinese while pursuing the academic career of their choice.  I lit and filmed interviews, shot b-roll, collected archival trip footage, and handled all post production including editing, sound, and color correction.

Madison Ridgeland Academy Promo

This promotional video was developed with the client to promote the school on their website. I shot , recorded audio, and edited the entire spot based on a script written by the client.

Mercy Delta Express Clinic

Developed to assist the Mercy Delta Express Clinic to secure an operational grant in the amount of $250,000 to keep the program from shutting down.  I shot and edited all footage, conducted the interviews, and handled all post production.

UMMC School of Medicine

This video was designed to promote the UMMC School of Medicine to potential students.  I shot b-roll, lit and filmed interview footage with help from the Media Productions team, edited, and color corrected the final spot.

Training
Hand Washing Training

The UMMC School of Medicine was at the forefront of the battle against Covid-19.  To better ensure the safety of their student they tasked Media Productions with developing a training video on the proper way to wash your hands and complete hand hygiene.  I shot and edited all footage.

Ole Miss Parking & Transportation

In April of 2013, the University of Mississippi Communications Department was approached by the Department of Parking & Transportation to assist in disseminating information about upcoming issues regarding on campus parking for the fall semester.

 

These three videos were an integral part of spreading information to the students in the most effective way possible.  This campaign was awarded a Silver Anvil Award by the Public Relations Society of America.  I developed the concepts, shot, and edited all videos.

Animation/Graphics
Ole Miss Landscape Services

University of Mississippi Landscape Services contracted University Communications to produce a video promoting their Landscape University curriculum.  Aimed at other landscape services departments, the video was designed to catch the viewer's attention by utilizing a clean graphic style and intriguing camera movement while informing the viewer about the program and its benefits.  I worked with one of our in house graphic designers to develop the concept and look.  Using his design assets I built the movement, added music, and recorded the voiceover.

We Are Ole Miss

In 2016, University Communications at the University of Mississippi decided to produce a :30 spot to highlight the great things that have happened in the Ole Miss Family.  I participated in developing the concept and writing the script.  I shot and edited the video, recorded the voiceover, chose the music, and color corrected the final footage.

Skin Sake

This :60 spot was one of 4 produced for Skin Sake to highlight the variety of their products.  Here we wanted to show the demands of today's athletes and what Skin Sake ointments could do for them.  I shot and edited all footage, chose the music, and recorded the voiceover.

Mississippi Department of Mental Health

This commercial was produced for the Department of Mental Health to draw attention to issues surrounding under age drinking across the state.  The focus of this video was on Social Hosting, when parents host parties and provide alcohol to minors. I developed the concept and shot and edited all footage, audio, and music.
